Breakers X have all but sealed Division One title
On paper there was only one winner, but aided by the handicap, Tickhill pulled off a fantastic 44-point victory.
Up first was Tickhill veteran Johnny Morley, receiving 40 points start against Welbeck’s Ricky Wlyd.

Up second was Lee Scott of Tickhill receiving five start against Phil Robinson.
Robinson set off well with a 16, however the long potting ability of Scott kept it alive.
The decisive moment came when Robinson took the final three colours to reduce the deficit to only 17 points.

Hide AdThe third frame started with a tactical battle between Rick Kimberley of Tickhill against Welbeck captain Simon Broughton.
The frame developed into a scrappy contest with nine reds remaining all at the top end of the table above the blue.
Giving 35 start Broughton managed to produce a 22 break to erode into the lead and when Kimberley shadowed team mate Morley when fouling on the black, the deficit was only seven points.
With Tickhill winning the first three frames by a combined total of 16 points, and with the handicap start added on, Welbeck star Richard Hill was giving 51 points start against Chris Hambrey in the final frame.

Hide AdHambrey started brightly with breaks of 14 and 12 to move over 70 points in front.
With five reds left on all above the blue spot and the colours positioned badly it became an uphill battle for Hill who clawed his way back with some small breaks, but it wasn’t enough and when Hambrey potted the final blue the handshake from Hill followed.
A disappointing end to the season for Welbeck after falling short in the league, but Tickhill will be on cloud nine.
