Woman charged for breaching Covid rules in Worksop

Edyta Ostrowska, of Carlton Road, Worksop, is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on February 9, 2021.
Nottinghamshire Police said she was charged after officers were called just after 1am on December 24 to a report of a gathering in Carlton Road, Worksop.

Superintendent Kev Broadhead, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The national legislation is in place to stop the spread of the virus and protect the NHS.
“We’ll continue to continue to engage with people and use enforcement as a last resort.”
Under Tier 3 coronavirus restrictions people are not allowed to mix inside or in private gardens with anyone from outside their household unless they are part of a support bubble.
Pubs and restaurants are closed.
Groups of six can meet in some outdoor spaces providing social distancing rules are adhered to.
