A Worksop man has been charged with rape and sent to the crown court.
Vincent Ikoubase, aged 40, of Manton Villas, appeared before Mansfield Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Because the alleged offence is so serious it must be heard before a judge.
He was granted unconditional bail to appear at Nottingham Crown Court, on June 20, when he will enter a formal plea.
