Notts: Gritting lorries go into 24/7 standby
The county’s gritting teams move into full 24/7 standby this weekend (November 1) in preparation for winter.
The gritting lorries will remain that way until March.
The four salt barns are full to the brim, with around 20,000 tonnes of salt and grit.
